Minoo Yal Sohrabi (b. 1992, Tabriz, Iran) has graduated in Painting from Tehran University of Arts. Gravure was her first medium of art from the outset of her career, but little by little, she opted for painting as her main media. Kitchenware and snacks build in the core subject of her artworks and highlight the relation between man and things. Moreover, she draws attention to the ornamental characteristic of elements in her painting. An indispensable element in her paintings, Rose is clearly considered as an ornament. Symmetry as well as symmetrical compositions are a way through which she can conduct a deeper study on ornaments. In her works she explores beauty and resorts to composition, colors and her visual subjects. Currently, Minoo works and lives in Tabriz.
