Kahak Projects × Soo Contemporary | Asad Badehjani Exhibition

Kahak, directed by Mohammad Piryaei / Farideddin, is a platform dedicated to nurturing and guiding emerging talents in the field of contemporary art in Iran. Through mentorship, professional consultation, and creative development programs, Kahk provides a framework for young artists to build sustainable artistic practices and connect with key structures and institutions in the art ecosystem.
Soo Contemporary, directed by Shirin Gharavisky, is an independent art space in Tehran, founded in 2017. Soo focuses on supporting emerging artists and fostering new experimental practices in contemporary art. Through its curated exhibitions, interdisciplinary collaborations, and research-based projects, Soo has become a dynamic space for dialogue between artists, audiences, and the broader cultural landscape.
The joint collaboration between Kahak and Soo brings together two complementary visions — Kahak’s focus on empowering artists through long-term development, and Soo’s commitment to presenting and promoting emerging voices in the Iranian contemporary art scene.
This exhibition by Asad Badejani is the outcome of this shared effort.
