Moving against the current can, in itself, be a goal worth pursuing.
This goal may stem from various reasons — sometimes arising from oppositional behavior, defiance, or rebellion, and other times, it may be the best decision a person can make given their circumstances.
My effort is to depict the survivors who move in a direction contrary to what is expected. No matter how damaging or impactful — it makes no difference.
