COBALT BLUE
Statement
What is above is also below.
Every ascent builds a descent elsewhere; every perfection hides a corruption somewhere else.
Being is not static. Nothing simply “is”; everything is becoming — a transformation that unfolds not on the surface, but at the core.
Before it became a tool, metal held another form deep within the earth: nameless, directionless, fateless. It was recast into something new — an instrument to escape gravity, to conquer the horizon, to reach beyond itself.
To conquer the sky is to strike the earth.
The night is bright; the day, dark.
Every step toward the light casts a shadow its own size — elsewhere, or
in the very same place.
Cobalt blue is not a color; it is a paradox.
A stain in motion, never still. At times it is the hue of the sky the instrument sought to conquer; at times it is the bruise beneath the skin of one who stood in its path.
One source, two fates — as with every motion in the material world, creation and ruin carried together within it.
The question remains: can a perfection be imagined whose nature is not built upon another›s corruption?
As above, so below.
