Nasser Bakhshi (born 1983 | Tabriz, Iran). He began his artistic activities in 13/4. He is a painter and conceptual artist, as well as a specialist and expert in carpet weaving, collector, archivist, and museum curator. Bakhshi’s work and activities have been showcased in individual and group exhibitions worldwide, including in America, England, France, Belgium, Holland, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, and more. He has also participated in prestigious international biennials. Throughout the years, Bakhshi has focused on collective memory, research, collecting, and creating works that reflect this perspective, which is the result of his life’s work. This collection consists of artifacts and documents related to collective memory, allowing for the tracing of events and concepts within it. This concept transforms the artist’s life into fundamental works and concepts in terms of contemporary history and its events, offering a fresh interpretation of contemporary history and reinterpreting it through the creation of art. This represents a critical representation of the current human condition.
