Hypersensitivity

One-person exhibition
February 4 – February 21, 2022
It was last year in the middle of the pandemic that I learned I have this condition of hypersensitivity. This condition is the reaction of the immune that may disrupt the functionality of itself, either partially or entirely. The immune system is surely known for the dire responsibility it assumes, which is to protect the body. In the case of hypersensitivity, the immune system will start taking everything as a threat for its uncontrolled activity in the body of the infected, while in reality an ordinary person’s immune system would consider that thing quite normal. It is deemed the symptoms of hypersensitivity may vary from one person to another. I felt a strong urge to create a collection that relates to the concoction of the effects of this condition and the ideas drawing from it. This sparked the initial idea of making these installations.
