Eastern Bunny and the Night Road

Eastern Bunny and the Night Road is a series of paintings shaped by personal experience, dreams, and fleeting images, exploring the relationship between memory, the body, and gesture. Bunny is not merely a fictional character but an imagined self, existing at the threshold between vulnerability and resilience, reality and imagination.

The body is approached as a site where meaning emerges, while gesture functions as a language that precedes words, expressing silence, desire, empathy, and the possibility of freedom. Dreamlike spaces, soft colors, and vulnerable figures operate not only as aesthetic choices but also as forms of resistance that preserve fragile human experiences.

Each painting can be understood as a fragment of an unfinished narrative—an attempt to slow down time and preserve moments that might otherwise disappear within the rapid circulation of contemporary images.
