He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in architecture and a master’s degree in interior design from the University of Fine Arts Tehran. In 2022, Ashkan held his first solo exhibition at the soo contemporary, drawing inspiration from Islamic architecture. His exhibition featured sculptures inspired by the novel “Invisible Cities” by Italo Calvino. Ashkan’s creations invite viewers to explore the intersection of tangible and intangible spaces, challenging the boundaries of physical and imagined landscapes. Overall, Ashkan Bahjou’s work reflects a deep understanding of form, space, and the relationship between art and architecture, making him an artist to watch in the art world.
